Our latest composite/ceramic body armor, Hercules Lite, offers a Rifle Stopping Level RF2 (III+) protection. With a lightweight and durable design, our new Level RF2 (III+) Composite/Ceramic Body Armor Plates are lighter, stronger, and higher performing than ever before.

Above the Standard

NIJ has a level III body armor, but does not certify level III+ armor plates. Plates with a level 3+ have been independently tested to exceed the threat level rating of level 3 body armor, and are able to protect against Armor Piercing Rifle Rounds, such 5.56 Green Tip. This is soon to change when the NIJ Standards 0101.07 arrive. Then this plate will meet the standards for NIJ Level RF2 (equivalent to the industry standard level III+).
